As shared by Craving pop music on social media, the musician changed his name slightly as the capital “XCX” is now spelled with a lowercase “xcx”.

As of the time of this writing, the British singer has not revealed the intention behind the sudden name change as she has never announced anything online.

In a 2012 interview with Rolling Stone, the “Mean Girls” hitmaker, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, gave fans insight into her stage name when many were confused about its meaning. meaning of “XCX”.

“People have speculated that it means ‘Kiss Kiss,’ but I really just chose the name because I thought it looked good and sounded appealing,” she explained.
The singer further noted that she felt the name needed to stand for something when she signed with a record label, so she told them it meant “X-Rated Content “.
“Everyone there looked at me like I was crazy. They were probably thinking, ‘Oh, no, what have we gotten ourselves into?!’ But really, at this point, it just symbolizes everything I’ve done so far,” she said.
Charli has risen through the ranks, from a 19-year-old rising singer from the UK to a 31-year-old global pop superstar whose music fans always look forward to.

The singer just released her latest album, Kid, contains her previously released hits such as “b2b”, “Club Classics”, “360” and “Von Dutch”.
