HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous is about restoring historic homes in Bentonville, Arkansas, and husband-and-wife duo Jenny and Dave Marrs are the stars who work the magic. But let’s not forget about the show’s construction manager Chase Looney, who is as responsible as the main cast for keeping the show running.
Let’s learn more about him through this Chase Looney biography.
Is Chase Looney on Fixer To Fabolous?
That’s right, Chase Looney was on Fixer to Fabulous. In fact, he was an integral part of the show, having been with the cast since the beginning. However, as the seasons progressed, Chase’s screen time definitely decreased.
He first appeared in the first season of Fixer to Fabulous in 2019 in the episode titled “From Craftsman to Creole Cottage”. Since then, he has appeared in over 10 episodes.
Chase Looney’s Wife
Chase Looney reportedly separated from his wife Chelsie Lamborn-Looney in early 2021.
According to Chelsie, Chase was the one who messed things up. “Accepting that it wasn’t you, it was your ex is incredibly painful. Because if it was you, it could have been fixed. When it was him and he chose not to change, it was time to leave,” she explains.
Additionally, Chelsie shared that Chase “refused to work” with her and refused to “make any effort to return her love.”
Her definition of love is “a 50/50 partnership,” not “a project that needs constant repair.” So she’s tired of Chase just walking in the door and putting on the “perfect partner act.” She wants him to say no to “the temptations of life outside the home” and love her instead of his “selfish desires.”
I guess Chase let her down.
But this is just Chelsie’s story. Let’s not be too quick to judge the Fixer to Fabulouss star.
Chase’s estranged wife moved on and was dating a military man, Douglas DeMerritt, in late 2021. She seemed happy then and was pursuing her love of makeup. Here’s her Facebook @chelsie.lambornloo and IG @chelsieooney.
As for Chase’s children, he has two with his ex-wife Chelsie — a son named Landon and a daughter named Lucy. His children have appeared on his social media a few times.
Even though Chase and Chelsie broke up, he still has pictures of her on his IG (as of November 2021). And so does Chelsie. Her Youtube video, “Gift Your Gift: 2020 DIY Gift Guide,” features Chase wearing an eye patch.
Fun Fact: For Christmas 2020, Chase gave his son a real homemade hunting knife made from one of the first deer he hunted as a kid with his dad. He wanted Landon to hopefully pass it down to his own children.
Chase Looney Net Worth
Chase Looney has a net worth of over $350 thousand as of 2021.
A professional carpenter and construction manager, Chase has spent much of his life working with wood. His shop is called Chisel and Sawdust, and that’s where Fixer to Fabulous sources some of its customers’ products.

For those wondering, the average carpenter in Arkansas makes around $45k per year.
What happened to Chase Looney Eye?
Chase Looney was always a carpenter at heart. But he also wanted to serve people. So he joined the fire department at a young age.
Unfortunately, while lighting a fireworks display on July 4, 2017, Chase was injured. “I believe the shock from the fourth tube explosion knocked the fifth tube off after I had just lit it. There was a deafening bang, a flash of light, and in the chaos of that moment, everything around me slowed down,” he recalled.
The horrific event left Chase with irreversible injuries to his eyes and face.
