Concertgoers witnessed him quickly regain his balance and return to entertaining.
Unfortunately, Martin is not the only one to encounter this accident. Similar incidents have also happened to Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish. Rodrigo’s fall, which happened in Melbourne, mirrors the “Fix You” singer’s mistake of accidentally opening a trap door.
This incident was just one of many challenges Coldplay faced during their “Music of the Spheres” world tour. Bassist Guy Berryman recently missed a show, as shared in an Instagram update following their show at Marvel Stadium.
“Tonight is the first time in the history of our band to play a show without all four members on stage,” the “Sky Full of Stars” singer told the audience.

“Guy suddenly got sick right before the show. Thanks for helping us get through it.”
The band further told the audience: “I have to say, thank you so much for coming to our show today. It’s a shame, but we waited until the last minute to tell you guys that our beautiful bass player, Guy, is so, so amazing.” sick and won’t (play) for the first time.”
“I’m sorry you guys are here waiting to see Guy,” Martin explained.
“[Berryman’s] It won’t be possible to play today. We’re going to have a slightly different show and we’re going to do our best to make it great, and I know it’s going to be great because we’re in Melbourne with all these people beautiful like you.”
