Daisy Pearce, 36, and firefighter Ben O’Neill have been in an on-and-off relationship for years, starting in 2014. Their love for each other only grew deeper when they became parents in February 2019, when they welcomed twins into their lives.
However, their joy was accompanied by worry when their son was diagnosed with dextrocardia, a rare congenital heart condition discovered during Daisy’s pregnancy.
She led the Dees as captain from 2017 to 2018, then continued in the role from 2020 until her seventh season in 2022. Daisy Pearce left temporarily in 2019 to welcome twins Sylvie O’Neill and Roy O’Neill.
