Dave Grohl is doing what he can to keep his family together.
The Foo Fighters rock star is said to be spending the Christmas holiday with his wife and family following September 2024’s tumultuous pedophilia scandal.
It’s been three months since the “Everlong” lead singer opened up about welcoming a child outside of his marriage with his wife of 21 years, Jordyn Blum.
“I recently became the father of a new daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and children. And I’m doing everything I can to restore my child’s peace.” Please trust and receive their forgiveness,” the artist admitted in an Instagram post.
As the lovebirds struggle to stay afloat, a source told ‘People’ that the rocker plans to spend the festive season with his wife and three daughters.
An anonymous insider said: “They all celebrated Christmas as a family.” Grohl and Blum have not provided any additional comments at this time.
“Dave is prioritizing his family,” a second source told ‘People’ in November. “He knows he made a mistake. It’s one of those situations where you don’t realize what you have to offer until he was about to lose it. He didn’t want to lose his family.”
It is known that Blum’s friends are urging her not to bring her husband back while she is still confused about the difficult situation. ‘Daily Mail’ source said: “One day, Jordyn Blum threw away her wedding ring and vowed to divorce her cheating husband Dave Grohl. The next day, she was at home wearing the ring and sobbing. because I don’t want the marriage to end.”
The musician – who has appeared upbeat throughout the difficult process – previously told fans he is working hard to “regain trust” from his wife and children so they can “be together move forward”.
“She doesn’t want to make any hasty decisions because it all affects their daughter,” the source added. “She’s still unhappy and isn’t wearing her wedding ring but things have calmed down.”
Dave Grohl, 55, and Jordyn Blum, 48, share three daughters; Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 14.
