Meet David Fhima, Golden Bachelor Leslie Fhima’s Ex-Husband

Golden Bachelor finalist Leslie Fhima was previously married to Minnesota celebrity chef David Fhima. David came to the United States in 1982, so they may have met then. The couple have two children together, Eli Fhima and Chloe Fhima. Leslie also has a son, Zack Chazin.

Eli, now 28, was just five when David and Leslie divorced, leaving the former couple separated for more than 23 years. “Eli was raised under my kitchen table from birth,” David shares, “and as a product of divorce, that meant I had half-time custody, and because that time was so precious, I never wanted a babysitter, which meant he was in restaurants when he wasn’t in school, doing homework, hanging out, and mostly eating.”

Leslie also spoke about her children, claiming they were “the loves of her life.”

“They are the loves of my life,” Leslie said. “I want to create memories and traditions for them. I bring so much to their lives and they make my days happier.” She sees them three times a week and FaceTimes them on days when she doesn’t pick them up from school or take them out.

After graduating from high school, Leslie traveled the world with Ice Follies and Holiday on Ice while spending much of her childhood skateboarding. “I taught my nephew to skateboard, the three of us went sledding,” she said. “We swam together in the summer, we had dance parties. When my youngest son [the grandkids’ uncle] During her marathon, we cheered and ran the last mile with him.”

“When I was raising my kids, I was a single mom juggling everything. Now I have the space in my life to give them real quality time that I wasn’t always able to give my kids,” she said. “They are my change.”

Her son, Zack Chazin, works as a Global Touring at Live Nation Concerts. He is a Talent Buyer/Promoter & Artist Manager at Chazin Entertainment. Additionally, he is a Partner/Director/Talent Buyer at Snowta Fest.

According to Eli’s LinkedIn, he currently serves as the CEO of Fhimas Minneapolis. He is a member of the hip-hop trio Kids Like Us, which released an album called When Things Get Weird in May 2014.
