Nigerian music sensation Davido and former NFF President Amaju Pinnick have chosen an out-of-court solution. The failure began when Pinnick’s Brownhill Investment LLC took Davido to court, claiming he had breached their contract.

Picture this: it all started in March 2023 when Davido’s group signed a deal to perform at ‘Warri again‘ concert. However, Davido was absent citing another gig in Australia. This led to raised eyebrows and eventually to the courtroom.

Fast forward to the present day and we’re hearing a different tune. The Delta State High Court has given the green light to the out-of-court settlement, bringing peace to the proceedings. As part of the deal, Davido agreed to transfer N30 million to Pinnick within a week and stride at the ‘Warri again‘ concert in October.
But wait, that’s not all. Davido also waved the white flag while appealing the court ruling earlier this year. And interestingly, Pinnick arranged all the logistics for Davido’s show, including luxury private jet travel and comfortable accommodations.
This whole story has been a roller coaster, with Brownhill Event Center demand a refund of N70 million for Davido’s absence last time’Warri again‘ incredible. But with this settlement, both sides are ready to call it a day and move on.
