As of 2019, Diamond Platnumz is dating Kenyan model and musician Tanasha Donna, with whom he has a son, born in October 2019. The two have separated and Tanasha Donna flew back to her homeland Hers, Kenya.

Diamond Platnumz is the cousin of Tanzanian socialite and DJ, Romeo Abdul Jones, known professionally as Romy Jones. He also has two sisters, musician Queen Darleen and social entrepreneur, Esma Platnumz.
