Diddy attacked his personal assistant first and then beat Cassie Ventura for ‘having an affair’ with Kid Cudi, former bodyguard says

Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly physically abused Cassie Ventura in part due to her rumored relationship with Kid Cudi, according to Combs’ former bodyguard. But before that, he also tried to lay his hands on his poor personal assistant, just because he was so frustrated with the current situation.

Roger Bonds, who previously headed Combs’ security team, discussed the mogul’s abuse and misconduct in an interview on VladTV. Bonds claims that Combs discovered Ventura’s romantic relationship with Kid Cudi by looking through her phone.

This discovery is said to have angered Combs, causing him to attempt to confront Kid Cudi at his residence.

While Bonds was not present for the specifics of that encounter, he does remember that Kid Cudi was not home when Combs tried to confront him. Bonds noted that around the same time, Ventura began to distance himself from Combs.

“I don’t know exactly what he said,” Bonds explained. I knew he went to my house and Kid Cudi wasn’t there.”

“At that particular moment, after that happened, Cassie didn’t come around and then suddenly Cassie came back and Diddy was upset,” Bonds added.

Bonds revealed that Combs then directed his anger at an employee named Capricorn, who he believed had information about Ventura’s relationship with Kid Cudi, so he resorted to physical assault. Capricorn is his personal assistant.

“He was upset with a young girl named Capricorn,” Bonds recalls.

“Capricorn is his personal assistant. She must know about Kid Cudi because she never goes to the studio alone. She’s always with Cassie,” he explained.

“He took out Capricorn over that situation. Capricorn eventually left and sued him over it. He paid Capricorn $450,000 to keep her quiet,” he added.

In 2023, Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing the famous music executive of physical and mental abuse, among other allegations.

The case was resolved through an out-of-court settlement.

In May 2024, CNN released footage from 2016 showing Diddy assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel. After the video was released, Combs issued a public apology for his actions.

Diddy is currently facing multiple civil lawsuits but has not been criminally charged. The Los Angeles District Attorney stated that they could not pursue charges based on the CNN footage because the incident allegedly occurred outside the legal time frame for assault prosecution.
