Diddy pushes for Lil Rod’s lawsuit to be dismissed, claiming it’s filled with ‘legally meaningless allegations’

Sean “Diddy” Combs is moving to dismiss Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against him.

TMZ reports that a new motion filed by the 54-year-old rapper and his legal team on Monday challenges Jones’ allegations of sexual assault, harassment and solicitation, as detailed in court documents.

Earlier this year, Jones filed a $30 million lawsuit against the music mogul, alleging he was groped, drugged and forced into sex while he was a producer on Diddy’s most recent album.

Jones also claimed that Diddy forced him to solicit prostitution and distribute drug-laced cocktails at notorious parties at his house.

In documents filed in federal court in the Southern District of New York on Monday, the Bad Boy Records mogul alleged that Jones’ lawsuit was merely a ploy to gain attention and make a quick buck.

Diddy maintains that the allegations against him are untrue, asserting that there is no valid claim made in the lawsuit.

Jones’ lawsuit was criticized by Diddy and his legal team as a mix of “fabricated stories” and “grotesque drama” intended to stir up the media and force Jones to settle.

Diddy’s legal team also alleges that the lawsuit lacks merit due to “legally meaningless allegations” and “blatant lies” that do not support a viable claim, noting that crucial information regarding the time and location of the alleged events is missing.

In a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, Diddy’s attorney said, “Mr. Jones’ lawsuit is a complete fabrication — a shameless attempt to create media hype and get a quick settlement.”

“There was no RICO conspiracy and Mr. Jones was not threatened, enticed, assaulted or trafficked. We look forward to demonstrating – in court – that all of Mr. Jones’ claims are fabricated and must be dismissed,” the attorney added.

This is just one of many lawsuits and legal issues Diddy has faced in recent months.

Federal agents searched his residences in Florida and California in March as part of an investigation into alleged sex trafficking.

Despite the raids, no charges have been filed against Diddy so far.
