Courtney Burgess, who claims to have lurid sex tapes of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ private encounters, testified before a grand jury on Thursday, October 31.
He also alleged that Combs’ former partner, Kim Porter, who died on November 15, 2018, gave him 11 flash drives before her death.
Speaking later on NewsNation’s ‘Banfield’, Burgess alleged that the said drives contained videos involving eight celebrities – six men and two women. He further confirmed that two of these people were juvenile males.
According to Burgess, all of the individuals in the tape appear to be “under the influence” and are portrayed as “victims” rather than “perpetrators”.
Outside Manhattan federal court that same day, Burgess shared that he was subpoenaed by Homeland Security agents, who asked him to “hand over all records, including USB drives, hard drives, devices, etc. electronic storage or device containing videos and/or other files depicting Diddy,” reports ‘TMZ.’
Besides the alleged videos, Burgess also claimed that he had Porter’s alleged memoir, ‘Kim’s Lost Words: The Quest for Justice, from the Other Side’. The controversial book, which was available on Amazon and was a bestseller, was removed after protests from the Combs children.
In October, Burgess’s lawyer, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, confirmed the existence of the alleged tapes on ‘NewsNation’.
She commented that a male character in the recording “has a higher status than Mr. Combs.” She said, “I can verify that it exists. It’s true and the other person in the video is very clear.”
Combs’ legal representatives dismissed the claims as a “cry for publicity and attention.” Despite the ongoing allegations, Combs, 54, who was arrested in September, has pled not guilty to crimes including sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution. He is currently being held in Brooklyn without bail as further charges are filed.
Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee represents more than 100 individuals accusing Combs of misconduct, some of whom are minors. Combs’ legal team has always maintained his innocence against these charges.
