In a new documentary on Peacock, titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad BoyShocking claims are being made about music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ childhood.
Debuting on Tuesday, the film explores the allegations made by Diddy’s childhood friend, Tim Patterson.
According to Patterson, as first reported by The Rolling Stone, Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, used to throw wild parties in their house when he was a child.
“It wouldn’t be surprising to walk into one of the bedrooms and see a couple naked,” Patterson recalls. These encounters involved alcohol, marijuana and pornographic activities, he said.
The attendees were identified as drug users and dealers. Patterson reflected on the impact these parties had on them, saying, “Does that desensitize us? I certainly do.”
The documentary is described as revealing the surroundings that created one of music’s most influential figures.
Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, who raised the mogul after his father’s death when he was two years old, has yet to speak out about the claims.
Being a loyal mother to him, he became a musical legend and this was largely due to her commitment and efforts.
Diddy previously said good things about his mother, who “almost killed herself” to give him the opportunity to attend private school and travel in a 2006 interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Diddy’s recent legal troubles only prove how solid this relationship is.
Diddy was arrested in New York on sex trafficking charges and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center without bail until trial.
Janice Combs not only publicly stood by her son, but also stated that she believes he is innocent, even in the face of these serious charges.
Janice said in her statement to the New York Post, “I come to you today as a mother devastated and deeply saddened by the allegations against my son, Sean Combs.”
Janice supported Diddy through the legal challenges. She stood by his side during his 2001 trial related to the New York City nightclub shooting, in which he was found not guilty.
