Dineo Ranaka-Pesha was born on 16 December 1983. She is from Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. Her mother’s name is Nonceba Ranaka and there is no information regarding her father.
Becoming a famous South African radio DJ and reality TV contestant has always been one of her goals since she was young. She has also become one of the most influential businesswomen in South Africa. She is also a TV presenter and beauty queen.
Television audiences know her as the host of the music show Club 808 on e.tv and SABC3 Noted. Most viewers love her for her stunning looks; her appearance on the SABC1 celebrity gossip show, The Real Goboza made her even more popular.

Career
Dineo Ranaka started her radio career as an intern at 5fm and then moved to Yfm where she worked as a radio producer. She later co-hosted Essential Rush, a popular afternoon radio show.
She came into the limelight with the show Dineo Live on Drive and became nationally famous.
She is a co-host of the music show e.TV Club 808 with Moeti ‘Mo Flava’ Tsiki. Together they worked as a radio and television presenter on Prime Rime at the same time.
Dineo Ranaka also hosts shows on All Access and hosts a music game show on e.tv. She has also appeared in television series including Gazlam, Gomora and Scandal.
After leaving Yfm, she returned to radio as the host of Highveld Stereo, a weekend show.
She is on Cliff Central, an internet radio station, although she does not spend much time on the station.
Dineo Ranaka hosts Metro FM’s mid-morning show The Bridge, alongside Somizi Mhlongo and Lerato Kganyago. She was the host of Metro FM’s Top 40 Chart Show for two years.
She also starred in a reality television show called Dineo’s Diary; the show ran for five seasons.
As a producer, she is the brains behind the reality TV spin-off show The Ranakas. The show features her entire family, including herself.
She also appeared in Baby Mamas, a local film, and played the role of Joy.
Dineo Ranaka is also the host of Yim’lo on Mzansi Magic. She announced her intention to become a House and Hip Hop DJ in 2019.
The following year, she produced Mzali Wami through her production company. As an entrepreneur, she launched her cosmetics line LurDrBeauty in December 2020.
