Jimmy always wanted to pursue the arts. So he attended the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and earned a degree in acting.

After graduating from university, Jimmy began his acting career at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. His first role was Bill Alexander in The Nativity. He then went on to act in the Royal National Theatre’s Baby Doll and the West Yorkshire Playhouse’s Naked Justice.

In terms of on-screen acting, Jimmy has been in the industry for nearly two decades and has made 60 appearances. He made his feature film debut in 2002’s Anansi and his television debut in 2003’s Roger Roger.

His most popular television shows to date are Rev (2010–2014), Holby City (2006–2016), Most Dangerous Fame (2020), Kate and Koji (2020), Ted Lasso (2020).
