Eden McCoy was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and grew up in Newport, attending Memorial High School. She was born on August 10, 2003, to Natasha McCoy and Jim McCoy.

After graduating from high school, she attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, completing her undergraduate degree in just three years, and then went directly to graduate school at Georgia State University, where she received a master’s degree in acting.
