Early life and education
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Eden McCoy grew up in Newport and attended Memorial High School. She was born to Natasha McCoy (mother) and Jim McCoy (father) on August 10, 2003.
After graduating from high school, she attended Florida State University in Tallahassee. She completed her undergraduate degree in just three years and transferred directly to graduate school at Georgia State University, where she earned a master’s degree in acting.
While pursuing an acting career, Eden McCoy decided it was time to pursue another academic goal: she applied and was accepted into Emory University’s four-year medical program, a program ranked third among the top medical schools for research by U.S. News & World Report.
