Edwin Sifuna was born on May 22, 1986. He was born and raised in Bungoma County.

He was then employed as a Manager and Administrator at Magnate Ventures Ltd, a large advertising agency. Edwin Sifuna worked at the company as a manager for three years before setting up his own business, which he called Watenya Sifuna & Company Advocates.
Edwin Sifuna was then appointed Vice President of the Kenya Center for Multiparty Democracy (CMD) in 2019. In the 2017 general elections, Edwin Sifuna contested the Nairobi Senate seat. He presented a manifesto to address concerns such as rampant unemployment, waste management, and traffic congestion.
