Early life

elieliiscoming was born on February 10, 2004 in Lagos to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph. He was named Elijah Joseph by his parents eight days after his birth. Raised in the mainland area of ​​Lagos, the boy is of Yoruba descent and is a native of Ondo State.

Career

Growing up in Lagos, elieliiscoming was exposed to the rich Nigerian music scene from a young age. As a result, he learned and fell in love with the Alternative and Indie sounds. Elieliiscoming started composing songs whenever he got the chance. Jotting down the lyrics that came to his head in a notebook, he gradually built up his songwriting skills and sang the lyrics out loud to listeners. Doing this consistently gave him the confidence that he could actually compose music and succeed as an artist.

This led him to the studio in 2018, where he recorded his first single, Mama, at the age of fourteen. Despite his young age, he managed to create a song with catchy lyrics and a good melody. He would continue to compose more music, occasionally going into the studio to record songs, but he chose not to release songs right now. He did not want to rush into the music scene and was taking his time to refine his sound. During this time, he chose the stage name ELove as his stage name.

Three years after recording his debut song, he released his debut EP Infatuated in 2021. The project consists of three songs he wrote, dealing with love and emotional issues he was facing at the time. Although he released it as an independent artist, the project did quite well, garnering hundreds of streams and downloads on streaming platforms.

Infatuated introduced elieliiscoming, who changed his name from ELove to elieliiscoming, to the industry, helping him build a small but strong fan base.
