early life and education
Elnur Hüseynov was born on March 3, 1987 in Ashgabat, Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic of the Soviet Union, to parents whose names are unknown and may be referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Hüseynov.
His father served in the military, while his mother specialized in music theory. Elnur has a brother named Alvin Huseynov, who was involved in a serious incident in 2011 when he was allegedly raped by Elnur’s former Eurovision partner Samir Jawa Samir Javadzadeh stabbed.
Elnour’s musical journey began early, when he was admitted to a music school, where he was trained as a pianist. In 1999, his family moved to Baku, Azerbaijan, where Elnur received his musical and medical education. He graduated from medical school and received a degree in dentistry while also continuing his musical studies.
