Emmanuel Michaels ‘De Senator’ joined the Nigerian movie industry in 1998 as an actor and received online film training under the guidance of legendary film director Teco Benson (MFR).
In 2004, he made his debut as a Nigerian film producer with the movie “War of the Gods” produced by former Nigerian Film Corporation Chairman Delta DT Alex Idu.
In 2006, he wrote and directed the film Smackdown, starring Uche Jombo, Van Vicker, John Paul Nwadike and Chiwetalu Agu. The film was produced by Alex Idu.
Emmanuel Michaels “De Senator” also began to learn film editing and cinematography before he eventually founded and registered the film company “Hotline Movies Int’l”.
As a certified DGN film director, he has produced many Nigerian films such as Deep Tunnel, Akudiya, Mission Statement, Must Be Buried, Beyond Karma, and many more.
