dispute

Strongman has been involved in several controversies and feuds with other rappers in the industry, most notably the 2019 feud with Medikal.

The rap feud began after Medikal claimed that he saved the rap industry in Ghana in four years, a claim Strongman and other rappers disagreed with.

The two rappers sang songs such as “To Whom It Concerns,” “Don’t Try,” “Last Burial,” and “Immortal” to each other, sparking a lot of reactions and debates on social media.

The dispute was eventually resolved when the two rappers apologized to each other and their fans and collaborated on the song “Bossu” in 2020.

Another controversy faced by the strongman was when a leaked audio surfaced online in 2022, purportedly of him exposing some corruption and favoritism in the World’s Strongest Man competition.

The audio released by power athlete and promoter Mark Boyd allegedly revealed some athletes were taking bribes to get favorable events and divisions in order to win competitions.

Strongman responded to the recording, saying it was a private conversation in April 2021 and that he had no intention of tarnishing the reputation of the game or any other athlete.

He was also disappointed that Mark Boyd, who he considered a friend, had betrayed his trust and leaked the audio.
