SZA Reveals ‘A Brand New Project’ Coming Before the End of 2024 Amid News of Another Big Release

During a recent livestream hosted by streamer Kai Cenat, SZA discussed her highly anticipated upcoming album “Lana” which she has been hinting at since 2023.

The album remains a mystery, but the award-winning singer promises to release it “before the end of the year”.

The announcement sparked enthusiastic reactions from Lizzo, who was also a guest on the livestream, and Cenat, who screamed with excitement upon hearing the news.

If speculation continues, this will mark the second time the “Snooze” singer has released a major project at the end of the calendar year.

Back in 2022, SZA, real name Solána Imani Rowe, released her sophomore album “SOS” on December 9, quickly receiving praise as a potential album of the year.

SZA’s bombshell reveal comes after she hinted at two upcoming projects, though she decided not to reveal any specific release dates to British Vogue.

The “Kill Bill” singer is preparing to release expanded versions of “SOS” and “Lana,” which were originally introduced under a different title.

“I think I’m making music from a more beautiful place. From a place of possibility instead of a place of more anxiety,” the 35-year-old performer told the publication.

“I don’t identify with my brokenness. It’s not my identity. It was terrible that happened to me. Yes, I experienced cruelty. At some point I had to put it down.”

“Part by part, my music is changing because of that, I’m getting softer.”

This also comes after the recent announcement that she will be stepping back from live performances for the time being, as she opened up about her internal struggles with the music industry.

SZA revealed: “Maybe I wasn’t born to be famous – I was moody, hot-tempered and behaved erratically. That’s not for me because I’m too nervous.”

“But why did God put me in this position if I wasn’t supposed to be doing this? So I just kept trying to take the opportunity. But I also just said, ‘Please, the opportunity is playing. in my ass.'”
