Erling Braut Haaland was born on 21 July 2000 in a public health facility in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. He is a British citizen by birth, although he is of Norwegian descent. Both his parents are of Norwegian descent.
Erling Haaland comes from a family with a love for sports. He is the son of Alfie Haaland and Gry Marita Braut. Alfie Haaland is a former professional Norwegian footballer, while Gry Marita Braut is a former professional Norwegian heptathlete.
