By winning the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol event, Singh became the youngest champion in the senior category at just 13 years old. She also won gold medals in the youth and junior categories.
Singh’s success continued in the following years. At the 2019 Khelo India Youth Games, she won a gold medal in the 10m air pistol event for under-17s. Later that year, she won a silver medal at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany, as well as two gold medals at the Asian Junior Championships in the women’s 10m air rifle and mixed team events.
In March-April 2019, Singh added another gold medal to his collection at the Asian Airgun Championships in Taoyuan, Taiwan, when he won the 10m air pistol event for teenagers. She then went on to win individual and mixed team gold medals in the junior 10m air pistol event at the 2019 Asian Shooting Championships in Doha.
Despite his impressive performance, Singh failed to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. She was selected in India’s core training squad, but did not make it to the top two in the qualifying event held in February 2020.
However, Singh did not let this setback stop her. She continued to train and compete, and in January 2024, she earned an Olympic berth in the 10m air pistol event for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
