F1 23 Gameplay
F1 23 brings back the Braking Point story mode from F1 2021. Characters in this mode include main antagonist Devin Butler and hero Aiden Jackson, among others. It also introduces new characters, such as Devon’s sister Callie Mayer and their father Davidoff Butler, who runs Butler Worldwide. Retired driver Casper Akkerman joined as a mentor and later became Konnersport team principal. Konnersport founder Andreo Konner also made an appearance.
The game features better driving physics and the option to set a 35% longer race distance. Following the last red flag in F1 2014, the red flag has popped up again. The game looks more like a real Formula 1 race. New additions to the My Team Icons pack include big names like Nigel Mansell, Jamie Chadwick, Pastor Maldonado and Kamui Kobayashi.
F1 World is an expansion to F1 Life in F1 22 that brings together all game modes, including ranked, eSports, offline and online modes. It also brings back podium passes. There is now a safety rating for online players and you can even disable it if you wish. You can use in-game rewards to upgrade your F1 World car and hire new team members. You cannot purchase these upgrades with real money.
F1 23 plot
Aiden Jackson joins the Konnersport Butler Global Racing Team for the 2022 season after struggling to find a team. The team was founded by Andreo Konner and funded by Devon Butler’s father, Davidoff Butler. During the Miami Grand Prix, Aiden’s car lost power and he had to withdraw from the race. Devon, on the other hand, managed to score points for his team. At the Hungarian Grand Prix, Butler was told to let Jackson pass, but he did not comply. Aiden passed Butler and finished the race in the lead. Aiden faced more challenges with a slow pit stop at the Japanese Grand Prix, leaving him deciding whether to stay with the team or leave.
In F2, Butler’s sister Callie Mayer became the first female Formula 2 champion with the help of retired driver Casper Akkerman.
In the 2023 season, Ackermann became the new team principal of Konnersport and Aiden decided to stay with the team. Devin faced difficulties as he lost focus and ignored team commands. Casper tried to help Devin, but during the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Devin crashed and left the team. It was revealed that Butler suffered from tinnitus before the 2023 season, but he kept it secret. Konnersport needs a new driver and Davidoff says Butler Global will withdraw funding if they don’t finish fifth or better. Ackerman chose to sign Carly as Devin’s replacement.
