Early life
Frank Iero was born and raised in Belleville, New Jersey but spent most of his childhood in Kearny. His parents separated when he was just a few years old. He was born on October 31, 1981.
His mother lent her basement for band practice to support her son’s musical career. His parents were Frank Iero Sr. and Linda Iero.
Starting at age 11, Frank Iero began playing in local bands throughout New Jersey. He was briefly the lead singer of the punk band Pencey Prep.
Personal life
Frank Iero married Jamia Nestor, whom he had been dating for a long time, in February 2007. They have a total of three children – Cherry Iero, Miles Iero and Lily Iero.
A tattoo enthusiast, he has numerous tattoos on his body, including logos of bands such as “Black Flag” and “The Misfits”.
He also appeared on the reality TV show “LA Ink.” He is also a vegetarian. Peta named him “one of the sexiest vegetarian men in the world” in 2008.

Career
My Chemical Romance, a rock band, was formed in 2001, and he was the co-guitarist. “My Chemical Romance’s” debut album, “I Brought You My Bullets,” was released on July 23, 2002. The album was not a big hit with the public.
My Chemical Romance’s album, ‘Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge’, released on June 8, 2004, received positive reviews. “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)”, “Helena”, “The Ghost of You” and “Thank You for the Venom” were among the album’s standout tracks.
‘The Black Parade’ is the band’s debut studio album, released in 2006. It is a rock opera. The album was a huge success.
As the lead singer of the hardcore punk band “Leathermouth”, Frank Iero contributed to the band’s first album titled “XO” in 2009. The album’s lyrics were written by himself.
Their final album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, was released in 2010. Overall, the album received great reviews from music critics.
As part of the soundtrack for the 2012 film “Frankenweenie Unleashed: Music Inspired by the Motion Picture”, Frank Iero sang and played guitar on the track “This Song Is a Curse”, ‘Xmas Sux’ was one of the songs he contributed that year.
In 2013, he was revealed to be collaborating with the electronic-hardcore band ‘Death Spells’ alongside James Dewees.
