Gbubemi Ejeye was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ejeye on June 29, 1995 in a private hospital in Lagos.

She grew up in a middle-class neighborhood in Lagos State. Although she was born in Lagos, Gbubemi Ejeye’s ancestral roots are in the South-South region. She is an Itskiri woman from Delta State.

As a child, Gbubemi Ejeye aspired to become a lawyer and worked hard in school to achieve this goal. As she grew older, she discovered that she had developed a strong interest in acting. This interest in acting stemmed from participating in school plays and musicals. Over time, her love for acting replaced her desire to practice law.

Subsequently, Gebubemi Ejeye was admitted to the North American University of Hudbe in the Republic of Benin, and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the university in 2015.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Gbubemi Ejeye returned to Nigeria to participate in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. After completing the program, she began working in the media industry.

Her acting career began in November 2018 when she starred in a stage play titled Color Me Pink with Terra Kulture. The play tells the story of breast cancer. Her success in stage acting paved the way for her to join the Nigerian movie industry.

Gbubemi Ejeye started auditioning for movie roles in Lagos and was chosen for roles in some of them. Over the years, she has honed her acting career in feature films, short films, web series, theatre series and television series.
