Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen was born on July 20, 1980 in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul. She was born as Gisele Caroline Bündchen.
She was born to Valdir Bündchen (father) and Vania Nonnenmacher (mother). Her father worked as a sociologist and writer while her mother was a retired bank employee.
Gisele Bündchen is of German-Brazilian descent. Her grandfather, Walter Bündchen, was the Mayor of Horizontina. She comes from a family of eight and has five siblings (sisters). Her sisters are Patricia Nonnenmacher Bündchen, Rafaela Nonnenmacher Bündchen, Raquel Nonnenmacher Bündchen, Gabriela Nonnenmacher Bündchen and Graziela Nonnenmacher Bündchen. She was born a twin.
