Chris and Gwyneth accompanied Martin to the event held to “introduce” famous or royal children into society on November 30, which naturally attracted its own respective headlines .
But on TikTok, some commenters responded negatively to the way Martin appeared to act in the video which showed her seemingly stealing the other girl’s attention. “She just came and stole the other girl’s thunder,” one commenter responded, which echoed several other responses.
The video that surfaced on Monday (December 1) shows Apple rushing in while another debutante is posing for a photo, with Apple then posing for herself. The remaining debutant, apparently a French countess named Alienor Loppin de Montmont, seemed to smile politely as it happened. Watch the video below.
It’s not surprising that some people on TikTok don’t have it. One person said: “Looks like a scene from a teen movie where a mean girl steals someone from the show.” “Apple martini needs to relax,” another suggested. “She likes the ‘attention on me’,” another replied.
But that’s not all. “Wow, being a nepo baby,” said another. “It’s the presence of Cinderella’s evil stepsisters,” another added. “This is the definition of nouveau riche,” another person replied.

In an interview about four years ago, Paltrow actually took a positive stance on the “rights” of her daughter and her daughter’s friends, describing it as a “beautiful” thing.
“When I see my daughter with her friends, they feel empowered,” Paltrow said. Everybody in 2020.
“They have, and I mean this in the best way possible, a sense of ‘entitlement’ that is beautiful,” she added. “It does not spoil, [they] Also here for what the boys will get too. I feel very excited and excited that we all seem to be moving in this direction together.”
