Malik’s announcement sent fans into a frenzy, with X user @ZJMCRAVE tweeting, “SO PROUD OF YOU Z!!”

@savage_zquad added, “Can’t wait!!! Better soon or Zquad will tattoo ZOON on us.”

Other fans asked the singer to come to their country soon.

Malik’s first solo tour comes nearly a decade after he abruptly left the world-famous British-Irish boy band One Direction, the “X Factor” winners.

During that time, the “Dusk Till Dawn” hitmaker has openly discussed his struggles with mental health and the challenges of performing under the pressure of anxiety.

He shared an experience where, after deciding to cancel a show, a band member suggested it was due to “illness.” Despite the suggestion, Malik chose to be honest, deciding to openly discuss the impact his mental health had on the situation.

He wrote to TIME magazine in 2016, “As a solo performer, I felt more exposed, and the psychological pressure of performing became too much for me to bear—at least at the time.”

“My team was really supportive of my decision and they agreed that, at this point, our best option was to be honest. That was refreshing and made me feel a little more confident in making the statement,” he added.
