Tekken 8 plot
In Tekken 8, after the death of Heihachi Mishima, Jin Kazama, Lars Alexanderson and Chaolan Li ambushed Kazuya Mishima in Manhattan, causing the operation to fail. Kazuya announces a new King of Tekken tournament, sparking a global conflict. After recovering from his injuries, Jin found that he could not activate his magic power at will. He participated in the preliminaries, met Heihachi’s illegitimate daughter Reina, and qualified for the main competition. Meanwhile, Zafina, Claudio and Xiaoyu watch the game, seeking Jin’s help against Kazuya.

At the main tournament in Rome, Jin defeated Leroy Smith, but learned of Kazuya’s plot. Claudio injures Kazuya, but seemingly sacrifices himself. Jin regained control of his demonic powers, awakened his angelic form, and defeated Kazuya. As the world celebrates freedom, the surviving Rayna vows revenge and reveals her demonic gene.
