JAMB/UTME Result 2024: How to check your performance easily

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently conducted the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 2024, with thousands of candidates across Nigeria taking part in the exam. As anticipation for the release of UTME results increases, many candidates are eager to know how to check their performance.

JAMB is reviewing the details of the UTME being conducted, ensuring that all necessary screening is completed before the official announcement of results. Although results had not yet been announced as of Monday afternoon, April 22, candidates can expect them to be available soon.

For candidates who wish to access their UTME results as soon as they are announced, the official JAMB website serves as the main platform for checking results and printing the result slip. Here is a simple step-by-step guide on how to check your UTME results online:

  1. Access JAMB eFacility Portal: Open a web browser on your phone or laptop and access JAMB eFacility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login.
  2. Enter your login details: Provide the email address and password you used during registration to access your JAMB profile.
  3. Access your results: After entering your login details, click on the “Check UTME results” button. If your UTME results have been announced, your scores for each test subject will be displayed on the screen.

Apart from checking results online, candidates can also choose to receive their UTME results via SMS. To do this, simply send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number used for registration during the UTME registration process. After sending the message, you will receive the results via SMS.

While candidates eagerly wait for their UTME results to be announced, JAMB has assured that the first batch of results will be announced “any time soon”. The examination agency works hard to ensure all necessary procedures are carried out before announcing official results.

As candidates wait for their UTME results, it is important to be patient and optimistic. Whether checking their results online or via SMS, candidates can look forward to receiving feedback on their performance and taking the next steps in their learning journey.
