Early life
Jamiu Azeez was born on July 25, 1985 in Lagos state. He grew up in the Somolu axis of the State and grew up in a polygamous home.
Azeez is also the first child in a family of four children. His parents, indigenes of a local business owned by Kwara State, supported, nurtured and sent their children to school.

His ability to thrive in the film industry stems from his creativity and social skills. He also grew up in the early 90s; a time when the film/theater industry was starting to take on a new shape.
Jamiu Azeez, 36, also grew up with a deep love for Yoruba films. He is especially fond of veteran actress Opeyemi Aiyeola and recently considered her his role model.
Education
Based on his educational background, Jamiu Azeez received his basic education at St. Peter and Paul, located in Somolu, Lagos State.
He began secondary school at Morocco Comprehensive High School and completed it at Anguish Memorial School, where he received his WAEC certificate.
Azeez’s passion for writing and theater did not prevent him from attending University. Soon, he was accepted to study Marketing at Lagos State University.
Career
Actor and Film Producer, Jamiu Azeez entered the film industry quite early after meeting Jide Kosoko. However, his first acting role came a few months later when he got the opportunity to feature in a Yoruba movie titled Jamail.
