Jovita Moore (born October 4, 1967) is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist and philanthropist, conceived and raised in New York.
She worked at WSB-TV, Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta, Georgia, as an Evening and Morning News Anchor. Prior to joining WSB-TV Newsgroup, she worked at WMC-TV in Memphis, Tennessee as an Anchor and Reporter.
Jovita Moore is believed to have died after a long battle with cancer.
On April 15, 2021, it was announced that she would need to undergo a medical procedure after specialists discovered two tumors on Jovita’s brain. After a medical procedure, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, the most common type of malignant brain tumor.
It gives the impression that there is no cure for the disease except a treatment to prevent it. She died after a battle with a malignant brain tumor.
