Speaking to people during the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards, the EGOT award-winning singer and host was tight-lipped when asked about her love life.

“Everything was great,” Hudson said simply. “That’s all you need to know.”
Hudson and Common confirmed their relationship when she visited her ex on the day Jennifer Hudson’s show in January 2024.
In an exclusive clip obtained by PEOPLE before Common’s guest episode aired, Hudson pressed the rapper with a rather pointed question.
“Now we have to get down to business, Mr. Common. I’m the host so I have to ask you this because everyone always wants to know this – are you dating anyone?” the Emmy-winning host asked shyly.

In response, Common said: “I’m in a relationship… with one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met in my life. She’s smart, she loves God, she has something real about her Yes, she’s talented.” .”
Without easily confirming that he’s dating Hudson, Common said he wants his lady to succeed and wants to be an EGOT winner.
