Jennifer Lopez cancels ‘This Is Me… Live’ summer tour

Jennifer Lopez has canceled her This Is Me…Live summer tour. The tour was billed as her first in five years.

A statement regarding the finale of This Is Me…Live stated that Live Nation had canceled the tour, saying “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.” she.”

Lopez and husband Ben Affleck, affectionately known as “Bennifer” for decades, are no longer together. The two reunited at Affleck’s daughter’s high school graduation on Thursday.

PEOPLE reported earlier this week that the couple “remains separated. She’s back in LA rehearsing for her tour. She seems fine. She’s very focused on her work.”

Meanwhile, Affleck is filming Accounting 2.

Lopez previously canceled seven This is Me…Live shows in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston.

Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded. On Lopez’s website, fans who purchased tickets through resale sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub and VividSeat are encouraged to contact their point of purchase for more details.

Lopez herself released a statement to her fans. In her “Special Message to My JLovers on TheJLo,” she announced that she was “absolutely heartbroken and disappointed to let you down.”

“Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel it was absolutely necessary. I promise to make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

The cancellation of This Is Me…Live comes amid weak ticket sales earlier this year.

“I wish I could have a summer vacation,” Lopez said during an appearance on Good Morning America earlier this month. But it was just a small tour. Like 28 shows, I’m excited about that.”
