Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 after two decades apart and later tied the knot in a private ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022 and a larger celebration in Georgia the following month.

However, their marriage fell apart just two years later, when Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, their second wedding anniversary, in Georgia.
A source told In Touch Weekly that Lopez filed for divorce after learning that Affleck would be spending the day with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
“J. Lo vowed to make Ben regret the day he decided to make her a loser!” the unnamed insider claimed.
Affleck and Garner enjoyed a decade of marital bliss before deciding to split in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2018.
After their divorce, the couple prioritized maintaining their friendship for the sake of their three children, as they wanted to set positive examples for them.

When the “Gone Girl” actor faced challenges in his marriage to the “Jenny From the Block” singer, he reportedly turned to Garner for help and guidance.
The “Alias” actress has shown her support by welcoming Affleck into her home and regularly visiting his rented home in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
Just hours before Lopez filed to end her marriage to Affleck, the Oscar-winning actress and Garner flew back to Los Angeles from Connecticut, where the co-parenting couple had flown in to help their daughter, Violet, settle into her new dorm at Yale University.
Lopez was said to feel humiliated after seeing paparazzi photos of Affleck looking happy next to Garner.
“It’s no exaggeration to say that J. Lo hates him to the core,” the insider added.
“He made her look like a fool for hanging out with his ex. Now she’s ready to attack him!” the source added.

Garner is said to have maintained a friendly relationship not only with Affleck but also with his soon-to-be-estranged wife.
According to an anonymous source who spoke to Life & Style, Garner has been understanding and patient with Affleck amid his troubled marriage to Lopez. However, she reportedly admitted that he has taken up a lot of her time.
Their focus is on facing the challenges of co-parenting and guiding children through the subsequent divorce with the least amount of pain.
According to insiders, Affleck’s past struggles with alcoholism are said to have added to the stress on Garner as she tries to block any obstacles for him.
