Jennifer Lopez Furious After Ben Affleck ‘Humiliates’ Her; Actor Delays Divorce Because of Her — Report

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly having trouble coming to terms with her relationship status with husband Ben Affleck as he is said to have not filed for divorce to avoid further embarrassment.

In recent months, there has been a lot of speculation that the 55-year-old singer and the 52-year-old actor are preparing to divorce after just two years of marriage.

Amid split rumors, a new report claims Lopez is finding it difficult to accept the possibility of another failed marriage.

“She was furious,” an anonymous source told Page Six. “He humiliated her. He was the one who initiated the move to get back at her.”

They continued, “He humiliated her because she made a big deal out of him being the love of her life. They just had two weddings in the last two years. This is some kind of record, they’re not kids anymore.”

Lopez and Affleck were married twice in 2022, first in a small ceremony in Las Vegas and then in a more lavish ceremony in Georgia a month later.

The “Get Right” singer is also said to be very concerned about the impact her divorce from Affleck will have on their new family.

“There are five kids involved in this,” the insider told the outlet. “She knows they’re going to blend the families. She still hasn’t fully accepted that it’s over.”

Lopez and ex-husband Marc Anthony co-parent twins Max and Emme, now 16. Meanwhile, Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner have three children, Violet, 18, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 12.

Despite recently purchasing a $20.5 million mansion in California’s Pacific Palisades after listing their joint estate for $68 million, Affleck is said to be starting over without immediately filing for divorce.

A second unnamed source told Page Six that the “Batman v Superman” actor’s decision to delay filing for divorce was due to his desire to avoid further humiliation for Lopez, as he values her dignity and wants to protect her feelings.

TMZ, citing an unnamed source, recently reported that the “Gone Girl” star and the “Hustlers” actress are planning to file for divorce but have cut off communication with each other, complicating settlement talks.

Affleck and Lopez have not yet hired divorce lawyers, the source said. Instead, they are relying on their business managers to work out the necessary arrangements.
