Bruno Mars is one of the biggest entertainers in the world and he has the price to show for it.

Although the “Marry You” singer has played the piano at weddings in the past, his price has now been revealed and according to wedding planner Marcy Blum, the figure is in the millions of dollars.

Blum, who worked on Jennifer Lopez’s failed wedding to baseball star Alex Rodriguez, shared that the couple was considering having Mars play music at their wedding.

“We were working with J.Lo and A-Rod before they broke up, and they were going through the list of musicians, and she said, ‘What about Bruno Mars?’” Blum says. The Skinny His Secrets and Hers Podcast.

The wedding planner revealed to Lopez that she had just worked with Mars on a previous wedding and that his fee was very high, around $5 million for a 45-minute to one-hour performance.

Blum said Lopez was shocked by the price and called it “ridiculous.”

Rodriguez and Lopez started dating in 2017 and got engaged two years later. They planned to get married in 2020, however, the pandemic postponed the wedding. The couple will never walk down the aisle as they will split in 2021.

Lopez then moved on with her ex, Ben Affleck, whom she married in 2022. They also didn’t last and broke up in 2024. Despite this, the pair appear to have remained on friendly terms when Affleck gave Lopez a signed book by Marlon Brando for Christmas. The gift was definitely thoughtful as it resembled the bodysuit she wore during the Super Bowl halftime show, which was inspired by Brando.
