Jim Caviezel is the son of former stage actress Maggie Caviezel and chiropractor James Patrick Caviezel I. His father is of Slovak and Swiss descent, and his mother is of Irish descent.
Jim Caviezel has a younger brother, simply known as Timothy Caviezel, and three younger sisters named Ann Caviezel, Erin Caviezel, and Amy Caviezel.
