Joshua Paul Dallas (born December 18, 1978) known as Josh Dallas is a talented American actor and television personality.
After several small television appearances, his big break came in 2011, when he played Prince Charming/David Nolan in the ABC television series Once Upon a Time.
In 2018, Josh Dallas played Ben Stone in the NBC TV series Manifest. He is married to actress Ginnifer Goodwin, with whom he has two children.

Early life and education
Josh Dallas was born on December 18, 1981, in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. He is one of three children of his parents. His mother is Diana Raymond and his father is Robert Michael Dallas II.
He has not spoken much about his childhood nor has he revealed details about his siblings.
Josh Dallas graduated from the Mountview Academy of Dramatic Art in the UK. After graduation, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company of the UK. He later performed in the Royal National Theatre, English National Opera, New Shakespeare Company, Young Vic Theatre and other troupes.

Josh Dallas met British actress Lara Pulver while working at Johanna in Windsor in 2003. They got married in 2007 and divorced in 2011.

Josh Dallas was cast as Fandral in Thor after Irish actor Stuart Townsend dropped out days before filming began following his return to the United States.
Since he was an unknown actor when he was chosen, there is speculation that he was chosen because there was not enough time to find a more famous replacement. Josh Dallas considered Errol Flynn as an inspiration and watched his films to prepare for the role (Stan Lee conceived the character based on Errol Flynn in 1965).
“I tried to bring out the Errol Flynn side of it,” he said. “Errol Flynn had a lot of boyish charm, and Fandral had that, too.” Josh Dallas did not reprise his role in the Thor sequels. Zachary Levi replaced him in the next two films.
He first played Prince Charming in the ABC sitcom Once Upon a Time in 2011. After six seasons, Josh Dallas did not return for the seventh season in 2017. The following year, he returned to star in the series finale.
