No matter where you are in the process, when you get an opportunity, whatever it is, be ready and answer that call.”
After a life as an NFL star, Marion Jr. became a special education assistant at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. Thirty-six years after leaving Minnesota, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Youth Studies in May 2019.
He credits his wife with pushing him to go to college and get a degree. He might never have gone back if it weren’t for Karen. “She was always nagging me about it,” Marion said.
