Marion Barber Jr., 6 feet 3 inches tall and 225 pounds, was a second-round pick in the 1981 NFL Draft. He previously played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers from 1978 to 1980 and also played for the Chadsey Explorers from 1974 to 1977.
