Kash Doll has nothing but love for Kendrick Lamar and his shout-out to her in his Drake diss track ‘6:16 in LA’.
The rapper appeared on The Joe Budden Podcast on November 15 to promote her new album “Last Doll,” where she thanked Lamar for the shoutout.
“This is crazy… I haven’t even met Kendrick… shoutout to Kendrick for showing me love that I didn’t have in me,” she said.
However, it wasn’t always a happy time as Kash revealed that people took the joy out of her screams.
“Then people started saying ‘She did this’ and ‘She did this with Kendrick’ and I said ‘I haven’t even met him in person. What are you talking about? ?'” she shared.

In his song, Lamar thanks Kash.
“Cash Conspiracy, Dog? That’s not even a leak. Look for gems like Kash Doll, I just need your thoughts,” he said on the track.
Both Kash Doll and Lamar made headlines this year. Previously, she made recent comments about the type of man she is looking for after breaking up with Tracy T.
“During a conversation with ‘The Big Homie House’ in Atlanta, Kash discussed her dating preferences, shared what she wants in a man, and said she wants someone who “understands the value of women” rather than one “trying to be a woman”.
The host asked her about what she considered “sassy” behavior in men.
Kash replied: “When they think they are the ones receiving the flowers.”
Kash makes it clear that while she’s happy to reciprocate thoughtful gestures in her relationships, she doesn’t like it when men have a “What have you done for me lately” mentality.
“If I say, ‘Oh, I want some flowers,’ [and he asks] ‘Will you give me some flowers?’ I hate that–t,” she said.
Lamar previously made headlines this year after he and Drake exchanged words over various songs, one of which was ‘6:16 in LA’. However, the most successful song in the duel was Lamar’s “Not Like Us”, which reached No. 1 on the “Billboard” Hot 100 chart and earned several Grammy Award nominations, including Song and Record of the year.
Drake responded with his own songs such as ‘The Heart Part 6’ and ‘Push Ups’, although they achieved less commercial and cultural success than ‘Not Like Us’.
