Kian Lawley was born in Sioux City, Iowa, United States, on September 2, 1995. He lived to be 26 years old. He celebrated his birthday on September 2. When he was about a year old, his family moved to San Clemente, California.
His parents divorced when he was eight years old, and his mother raised him after his father left. He was raised with his siblings. He was a poor student and often got average grades in school.

Kian Lawley started his YouTube journey in 2010 with the channel Superkian13. While the channel flourished, they went their separate ways in 2014 and Kian began collaborating with JC Caylen in early 2015.
