Kimora Lee Simmons Calls Out Ex Russell Simmons Amid Diddy Allegations

Kimora Lee Simmons left a subtle message for her ex-husband Russell Simmons amid Russell’s years of vocal support for Diddy and Russell’s allegations.

On Instagram Stories, Kimora shared a single black image and then tagged Russell in it.

Kimora Lee Simmons tags ex-husband on Instagram

While she didn’t directly say anything negative about her ex-husband, this comes at a time when Russell finds herself facing a variety of issues.

In May of this year, Russell expressed support for Diddy amid an investigation into sex trafficking and Diddy’s nickname “The Diddler”.

“I know that some people find it fun to watch,” Russell said during an Instagram Live. “If I had a penny for every nasty meme sent by people whose lives were improved and built by Sean Combs, I would be so happy.” […] I think it’s hypocritical that the only reason you have this life is because you work for him or he gave you a job or somehow promoted you.”

“It was painful to see our brothers fall,” he continued. “And everyone [getting] together and [laughing] when our brothers fall or support the downfall of our brothers. You know, it’s hard. We can think it’s funny. Some memes are funny, but we have to look up and train our minds to see the good in things and not the negative,” Russell added.

Russell has previously been accused of sexual assault by 18 women, with the alleged assaults ranging from business meetings to attempted assaults in a New York City women’s restroom and a night of partying at his apartment.

Russell has denied the allegations and issued his own statement on the matter.

“I have been fortunate to share extraordinary relationships, whether through work or love, with many incredible women; and I have tremendous respect for the women’s movement around the world and their fight for respect, dignity, equality and power,” he said. Everybody“I am deeply distressed by any reason I could give anyone for speaking or thinking about me in the way that is now being portrayed. In recent weeks, a number of former business, creative and romantic partners have come forward with complaints such as claims that I completely deny. In some of these cases, financial motives and direct witness testimony to the contrary were provided to the media, but were not included in the stories at all.”

“I have apologized for the instances of thoughtlessness in my consensual relationships,” he continued. “I have distanced myself from businesses and charities so as not to be a distraction. I have re-dedicated myself to spiritual learning, healing, and working for the community to which I have devoted my life. I have accepted that I can and should get my sleeves dirty if it means witnessing the birth of a new consciousness of women. What I will not accept is responsibility for what I have not done. I have lived my life with a message of peace and love. While I have been candid about how I lived in books and interviews detailing my shortcomings, I will not stop fighting against any dishonest character assassination that portrays me as a violent man.”

He also spoke about the alleged attacks in an episode of Dig deeper with Graham Bensinger. While there, he shared that he took nine lie detector tests to prove his innocence.

“But women and celebrities can be a little different in some ways,” Russell said. “But we don’t want to disbelieve women, we have to believe women. We have to give them the benefit of the doubt, but we also can’t demonize people without evidence.”

News of Kimora’s messages comes after Meek Mill denied having a romantic relationship with Diddy amid allegations he had an affair.

In May, Kimora shared an Instagram Story in which she promised to “vigorously” protect Diddy’s daughters, Jessie James and D’Lila Star. Lee was good friends with Jessie and D’Lila’s mother, Kim Porter, who passed away from pneumonia in November 2018. She was 47.

“Prom 2024! I am so proud of you my babies! I love you always and will protect you with everything I have! Congratulations my love! You did it! @the_combs_twins,” she gushed via Entertainment tonight.

The newspaper reported that Kimora Lee helped and cared for the girls.
