Career
Kristian Alfonso began her figure skating career and won a gold medal at the Junior Olympic Figure Skating Championships. She began modeling at the age of 13 after a skiing accident ended her skating career.
By the age of 15, she had appeared on the covers of more than 30 magazines, including Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. She made her television debut in 1981, starring alongside Rock Hudson in the film The Starmaker.
Kristian Alfonso’s career took off when she was hired in April 1983 for the role of Hope Williams on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. The character of Bo Brady and Hope (played by Peter Reckell) became a popular couple.
