Early life and education
Kubrat Venkov Pulev was born on May 4, 1981 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He is the son of Venko Pulev and Hristina Pulev. He has a younger brother, Tervel Pulev, who is also a professional boxer. In addition to Tervel, Kubrat has three sisters: Boryana Puleva, Annie Puleva and Victoria Puleva.
