Early life and education
Kurt Perez was born on December 1, 1997 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. He is the youngest of three children.
He grew up in an ordinary family with a driver father and a housewife mother. He received his elementary education at Cabanatuan Central School and his high school education at the Technological University of Nueva Ecija.
He is currently attending the University of the Philippines Diliman, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Film.

Kurt Perez started his career as a child actor after winning the StarStruck Kids competition in 2004. He signed a contract with the GMA Network and became a member of StarStruck Kids Batch 1.
He made his television debut in the fantasy series Mulawin, playing the young birdman Pagaspas. He has also appeared in other TV series such as Encantadia, Etheria, Majika, Darna and Super Twins.
