Early life and education

Kweku Smok was born on November 25, 1997 in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region of Ghana. In 2024, he will turn 27 years old.

He is Akan, belonging to the Ashanti tribe. He grew up in a musical family, his father is a guitarist and his mother is a singer.

Kweku Smoke has been involved in a few controversies throughout his career. One of these was his feud with another Ghanaian artist, Shatta Wale. The feud started when Kweku Smoke accused Shatta Wale of stealing his song ideas and beats.

He claimed that he had played the song for Shatta Wale in the studio but Shatta Wale later released a similar song without his permission. He then rebuked Shatta Wale on social media and demanded an apology from him.
