Lady Gaga’s new album, ClownIt appears to have appeared on social media a day before it hit shelves.

On September 26, multiple people on social media site X (formerly Twitter) began posting screenshots of the album, claiming that the album had been leaked.

“I’m only addressing this once. I’ve always shared news/leaks/rumors and will continue to do so. I bought Harlequin and encourage everyone else to do the same. Leaks would have spread with or without me; I myself NEVER leaked anything. Blame the leakers! No one is forced to follow me!” one User X said.
Others shared snippets of what were believed to be the tracks.

“LG 6.5 harlequin leaked images are HORRIBLE, oh my god you are such a bitch,” wrote another user while sharing a snippet of a supposed song.
One user claims that the leaked album originated on Telegram and then spread to X.
“Harlequin revealed on the telegram,” they shared.
Another user shared the full link to the Telegram channel where The album was leaked..
On September 23, Mother Monster announced the news that she would be releasing Clown. She posted the cover art on her social media and shared the songs that will be included in the project. Additionally, Gaga revealed that this is not her upcoming LG7 album, but rather the album that accompanies the film. Joker: Folie à Deux.

Set to be released on September 27, the announcement of the companion album came after Gaga teased a special project she was working on as well as shared some snippets of new music on her social media channels.
While Clown is not her official seventh album, it is called LG 6.5. Her upcoming seventh album is scheduled to come out in February 2025 with the lead single set to be released in October of this year, according to Pitchfork.
Gaga talked to Fashion Regarding the process of composing her new music, she said there was a lot of “pain” involved in this project.
“There’s a lot of pain involved in this journey and as I start to explore that pain, it can bring another dimension to my art. When I’m here in this studio, I feel relaxed and I can face my demons and the remarkable thing is… it’s music. I can hear it coming back,” she said.
